Leave your mark on history with an engraved brick at the Historic 1907 Key West Firehouse

Looking for a unique & lasting way to honor a firefighter or first responder?

The Key West Historic Firehouse and Alex Vega Key West Firehouse Museum invite you to become a part of history by purchasing a personalized engraved brick in our Firefighters Memorial Garden or Heroes Promenade.

Engraved bricks are just $100

Brick purchases directly benefit the daily care of the Alex Vega Key West Firehouse Museum’s gardens and memorials and the preservation of Old Firehouse No. 3.

Choose from our two locations below.

New in 2024, The Heroes Promenade is the place to honor the heroes in your life, especially if that hero is you. Located in the garden of Station No. 3 amongst the avocado, Key lime, and Geiger trees, a brick in the Heroes Promenade is a great way to make a lasting impression on someone in a unique way. You do not have to be a firefighter or first responder to have your brick placed in the Heroes Promenade.

The Firefighters Memorial Garden is an exclusive place to memorialize firefighters who have passed. Located beneath the branches of our State Champion Mamey tree, the garden has long been sacred to the firefighters who served at Station No.3. Several of their cremains are interred beneath the tree, and an “eternal” flame burns in their names. Bricks memorializing firefighters from around the world who have passed are welcomed here.
